Linda Stobbs presents a new challenge with each painting, but never too hard for any individual to master regardless of their experience and expertise.  Each selection is chosen for a technique needed by the students in her class.  She does not permit a painting to leave that is not presentable.  Her techniques for teaching are such that all may learn something from each painting, whether a novice or a professional.  She has the gift of encouragement salted with much patience enabling each of her students to feel like they can grow, as they all do.  Linda has the unique, rare quality found in few teachers, and that is desiring her students to excel beyond her own skill level.  She is generous with praise and assistance to each and every attendee.  Linda is an upbeat person and in the past couple of years I have never seen her anywhere near cranky but always loving and kind.

Through her teaching my skill level has increased considerably, in spite of my high school art teacher saying I had no talent and could never be an artist.  My husband is so pleased with the results of her teaching that he even had me postpone major surgery so I would not miss a scheduled art session.

I would and have recommended her to all ages and all skill levels.  The classes are fun and easy and you will be pleased with your results.  And, with her teaching, anyone can learn how to paint, even me, and especially you!

I have been taking painting classes with Linda for the past year.  She is an excellent teacher.  Some students have more experience than others.  She makes sure to give individual attention to each student and makes sure that we have a nice painting, regardless of our ability.  I have also purchased paintings and have commissioned her to paint pictures for me as she is an excellent artist.

She is a happy person and makes painting fun in her classes.  I would most definitely recommend her as a teacher and an artist.

Linda is a wonderful artist and art instructor! I have been studying with her for seven years.  She keeps her classes interesting and explains things on my level (beginning artist) so that I understand and continue to want to paint.  She is very talented and I feel grateful to have been able to have this experience!
